The Gilbert Group provides portrait packages for High School Seniors the way that YOU want them done. We go to work for you to provide you with the most unique portrait based on your specifications and that take advantage of your interests and activities. We will meet you at your home or at a special location (or locations as needed!) to capture unique and distinctive perspectives to celebrate the defining moments in a person's life. Here are the basics: 1.  Schedule a photo session (either a LONG or SHORT session) by calling 318.245.1160 or by email photos@rusty1.com or by completing the online CONTACT FORM     •  LONG session lasts approximately 2-3 hours, involves approximately 30 poses, with up to 4 outfit changes:  $60 fee     •  SHORT session lasts approximately 1 hour, involves approximately 15 poses, with up to 1 outfit change:  $40 fee Half of the photo session fee is due when appointment is made; the other half is due at the photo session. In the event of "event" cancellation for reasons beyond control of the booking party, efforts will be made to reschedule appropriately. 2.  Within a few days of the photo session, your photos will be posted online (www.rusty1.com) where you can view and order prints (numbers and sizes) and other items as desired.  Print sizes and costs are detailed below. Some examples are to the right. Payment can be made with a credit card or check online. Prints will be delivered within 3-4 weeks of order being processed to The Gilbert Group. There is also an option for ordering offline...ask about this if interested. NOTE:  For $125 you can get a CD with the original digital photos (the ones posted online) for you to use and/or print wherever and however you desire. This is an offline order. A : Pretty much anywhere you want. The sitting fee covers any area within Claiborne Parish (schools, lake, state park, ball fields, homes, etc.)  The Lake Claiborne State Park is really wonderful, but there are lots of other areas available.  Call me to go over details.

Q : How long will it take to see my pictures online and, once I order them, to get my pictures?

A : I can usually have your pictures posted online within 3-5 days (sometimes that same day or the next).  Once you place your order online I try to have the pictures delivered to you within 3-4 weeks.  Ideally it takes only about 10 days, but sometimes it depends upon my work schedule and the complexity of the order (large prints, collages, and specialty items take more time to prepare and print).

Q : Can I get "printed proofs" of my pictures?

A : Yes.  Just let me know at the photo session (or any time afterward) that you'd like printed proofs, and I'll let you know how much the additional cost will be (probably less than $20).

Q : What should I wear?

A : This is entirely up to you. I'd recommend clothing that you are comfortable wearing, and you are welcome to bring extra outfits (according to whether you have a LONG or SHORT session) so we can get a lot of different "looks."  Remember to bring a cap and gown if you want photos of that.

Q : Can I bring my friends?  What about getting pictures together?

A : No problem. I want you to be as comfortable as possible for these photos, and many times your friends know just what it takes to help you loosen up. These photos should be FUN, and I'll do whatever I can to help make that happen.  I can even work a deal ($$$) if we photograph 2 or 3 different seniors for their portraits at the same time.  Holler at me.

Q : What about photos with my pet or my sports equipment?

A : Great idea! I've taken photos of Seniors with everything from their cat to their car! Musical instruments, sports equipment, hobbies - whatever you want to help show the real you.

Q : I wear glasses. Can you get rid of the lens reflections I always get when my photo is taken?

A : The best way to deal with "glasses glare" is to keep it from happening in the first place. Call your optometrist and ask if he can either lend you a set of frames without lenses, or temporarily remove the lenses from your own frames.  But if you can't, we'll do the best we can.  However, I can't guarantee "no glare" from your glasses. 

Q : Can you help me with make-up or hair?

A : Sorry, but that's outside my area of expertise.  You are on your own to find or get help you with hair and/or makeup.  Feel free, though, to bring brush, comb, mirror, etc. to the session.

Q : Are you able to fix photos if my complexion is bad?

A : Yes, I can do some minimal touch up.  If I see that it will require more than a little work, there will be an extra charge.  You let me know either in advance or after viewing the proofs if you want something ("zit" etc.) touched up.

Q : Can I have the digital images of my pictures?

A : I shoot Senior photos using a digital camera and do all of the photo processing digitally.  These images are copyrighted by The Gilbert Group and their use is restricted.  However, if you'd like to have complete use and ownership of the full sized digital images (to use however you would like to—print, display, etc.), then you can purchase a CD with the digital images of the photos that I put online.  The cost for the CD is $125.  You can do this either in addition to a print order or instead of a print order.
